Blog EntryPicture Perfect: WATER!Feb 7, '08 11:14 AM
for everyone

Hello dear friends! It’s Friday here and time for my Picture Perfect!! The theme this week is WATER and it is definitely appropriate for this week as we seem to hear a lot about it on the global news nowadays. It’s either too much water or not enough. My heart goes to friends that have been affected by the floods and friends who have been on dry land and deprived of water for far too long now. Either way, it must have been very hard for them and they will always be in my thoughts and prayers…

It’s really difficult for me to choose a picture this week. Being in the equatorial line, our weather is warm throughout the year, except when it’s monsoon time and it’ll be raining most of days. So if we get to choose, we’d love to be in the water all the time! There are pictures at the swimming pools, at the water theme park, at waterfall, at the ponds, at the lakes, at the seaside and so on…

Finally I chose to share this with you and I hope it will bring joy to your heart, as it did mine everytime I look at it. The clear water in this pond is full with colourful koi fish and it is actually inside one of our shopping malls. My Buttercup felt so excited when all the fish came up to her when she started feeding them. She was so surprised that those fish did not hesitate to come so close to her. She was shrieking with joy and was so tempted to touch the fish! See she’s already pointing her fingers …

Oh! Alright! I guess it’s just fair to show this picture where she’s already trying to touch the fish! Heehee! It’s almost the same, so we can consider it as one, yes?

 @Rainforest,1Utama 019

So there goes another glimpse of my little world… Hope you enjoy it!

Thanks a lot to FotoFriday for hosting & for another great theme!

Take care & Hope You Enjoy A Wonderful Friday!!

To those celebrating Chinese New Year,
Gong Xi Fa Cai & Hope You Enjoy a Prosperous Year of the Rat!!!

Koi are such neat fish, and you have a great shot of a great big BUNCH of them! I guess properly, it's a school of them. Hmmmm. I wonder which one is the teacher?

What a beautiful picture.
In Massachuetts where my daughter went to the doctor, they had a huge aquarium similar to this in the waiting room. I think that these are so cool!

I love watching Koi... their bright colours are so attractive. Fish are professional beggars by nature, which is why they come so easily when they think there is food going. Lovely photos, Ruzie!

My PP is finally up:

You have a very fun take on this week's theme, Ruzie. It made me want to touch the fish in that pond too!!! I can just imagine all the fun you all had at that particular day! I know my nieces would love going to a place with many fish like that. Splendid!
Thanks for sharing and making me smile so big!!! Love it! *hugs*

Ah, yes! You should see how the kids there were running and jumping with joy chasing the fish! While I was so afraid the plank there would give way! LOL!! Thanks, Lusy!

Koi fish and fish ponds have a way of bringing serenity to my heart. I did a blog about it a month or so ago. You have captured that feeling with your photos... I see clearly the smile on her face. Beautifully taken, Ruzie.

If you have a moment, mine finally made it up early this morning after a few Proxy Error hiccups. :-) Here is my link:
