 Hello dear friends! It's Friday again so here comes my Friday Five! This week theme is still on the current Christmas spirit i.e. Christmas gift. As I don't celebrate Christmas, I hope you don't mind if I base my answers simply on gifts. But I warn you, I'm on a bit of weird mood this morning.... Kih! Kih! Kih! Santa has made his list, wrapping the gifts and packing the sled . . . we are in the midst of the mad seasonal rush to buy the perfect gift.
Since is it more blessed to give than receive, let's think about the gifts we have given over the years.
What gift have you given that was the most . . .
1. Unique All my gifts are unique because I'm a unique person!!! No, seriously, this is a difficult one because I usually buy my presents, how unique can you be? I'm stuck with this one, maybe I'll get back if I can remember one later.... 
2. Life Changing
Life changing? Well, can I say having babies for my MacGyver?! I believe that is life changing enough... 3. Difficult
I always find it difficult to get gifts for boys! There are limited things that you can get for boys & those for boys are usually very pricey! Cheapskate!!
4. Funny Hmm... this is a good one! Once upon a time, I sent a glass bottle broken to pieces, on purpose, & sent by courier to my dear beloved hubby with a message, "You have broken my heart to pieces like this glass. Think you can mend it to its original condition?!" But of course, it was not funny at that time! I can't even remember why I did that!! And for the record, somehow, miraculously he managed to mend my heart!!
5. Memorable
If I may say so, that would be the baker's rack that I gave my Mum for her birthday which she use in her garden to put all her favourite plants! It's the envy of all my siblings, one because I don't do gardening at all at that time, so how in the world could I have thought of that?! Two, because all of them do gardening & wish they could have it!!

 Hello dear friends! Sorry I've not been around since I was down with migraine last Tuesday. It's better now but somehow it's still lingering. Felt like my head was hit by bricks and now trying to recover from the wound..... While my head is like this, I didn't dare to read & comment on friends' blog! However, I still can't stay away from my blog, I started to play around with the CSS! Heehee! See what I've done with my page? I couldn't have done it without a few help from the group's pages and especially from my new friend, Lady Ural, who really has the patience of an angel! Thanksgiving, one of America's favorite holidays is right around the corner . . . let's explore the cultural exchange of FOOD AND THE HOLIDAYS. Since we are an international collection of friends, rather than focus on Thanksgiving, discuss your favorite holiday.

1. What is your favorite holiday . . . and why, if you care to elaborate, especially those holidays not widely known . . .
I have other favourites but since it must be associated with favourite food/drink, it will be at the beautiful beaches in Kuantan, Pahang, West Malaysia. Why? I guess because we love beaches?
Your four favorite foods or drinks associated with this holiday . . . appetizer, main course, side dish, dessert . . . your choice . . .
2. 'Nasi Dagang' - this is a mixture of glutinous rice and normal rice, served with delicious fish gravy!
3. 'Sata' - this is fish meat mix in flour, onion & chili & wrapped in pandan leaves & cooked in kebab style!
4. Seafood - love all the seafood dishes! Fish, shrimp, cuttlefish, crab..... yummy!
5. 'ABC' i.e short for 'Ais Batu Kacang'! It's crushed ice served in a bowl with varieties of beans (red beans, corn in syrup, nuts, jelly, etc) underneath & topped with red syrup!

2. What is your favorite food? Food? I love lasagna!!! Just like Garfield?! Kih! Kih! Kih!
3. What is your favorite TV Show? TV show... this is a tough one! I have lots of fave! But I will definitely not miss any of travelling & home decor shows!
4. Who are your favorite actor and actress? Another tough one! Actor Sean Connery, actress Angelina Jolie!!! Go Lara Croft! Go!
5. Who is your favorite musician or group? Favourite musician.... can I say Santana? Group will be Il Divo!!! Woohoo!

 Hello dear friends, hope everybody is enjoying their Friday! I had a very exhausting one, but that would be in another blog because right now I have my Friday Five! So here goes....  Sharing here a photo of an old traditional palace now being display at Negeri Sembilan Museum. Beautiful isn't it?

Ponder the phenomena of the supernatural
and Halloween memories:
1) Do you believe in ghosts/spirits and if so why? Or why not
Trying not to because I don't want to live in fear acknowledging there's ghost/spirit around me?! LOL!
2) Have you ever had what you would consider a supernatural encounter or unexplained event in your life? What was it? That would be in my dreams! & you sure don't wanna know about it! Kih! Kih! Kih! 
3) Do you believe in ESP? Do you have it? I do believe in ESP but in this world that we're living now, it will take A LOT to convince me if someone claims they have it!!! Do I have it? I guess since I need A LOT of convincing, I DON'T then! LOL!
4) When trick or treating as a child what was the scariest thing that ever happened?
I don't really understand the question but maybe this is the right answer; Once when my Bubbles was 4 y/o, we went to Negeri Sembilan Museum. We went inside this old palace that is in the photo above, because I wanted to take some photos & there was no other visitor around at that time. The palace was very dark & there was only light from outside.
Here you can see my dear Bubbles was posing, on her right was the front door, while I was trying to focus the camera. Then I was quite puzzled because it looked very bright around her... I took my eyes from the camera & looked at her, it was dark except for the light from the front door! Then I looked in the camera again, the bright light was still around her!!! I wanted to run but at the same time I needed to convince myself that maybe I was imagining things, so I ask her to pose one more time at a different place in the house.
So my dear Bubbles posed again, now in the centre of the place. But to my horror, the same thing happen! You don't see the bright light around her in the photo but it was very clear in the camera screen!!! I still get shivers looking at these photos! At that moment I can feel all my hair standing but because she was posing so nicely & I don't want to scare her, I when on & took the photo. Then I really felt like grabbing her & run out from the house as quick as my life could but everything seem like in slow mo & my little innocent girl as chirpy as ever, took her sweet time walking out from the old palace!!!
See, she still can pose at the door while I have ran down the stairs! (Hmm... what terrible mother!!!) Only God knows how I felt when I took this last photo!!! I was actually terrified something would grab her away!!! See why I'm not keen to believe in ghosts/spirits!!! LOL!
5) What is your most memorable Halloween as a kid or adult? Sorry but I'm afraid I can't answer this as we don't celebrate Halloween!So there goes another glimpse of my life...

 Sharing here a photo of my girls checking out the swimming pool at the Palace of the Golden Horses, Sg. Besi which I found quite appropriate for this week title! Heehee! But actually they're not scare at all! The pool is closed when we reached there but they still insist on checking the pool out even though it's dark!!! Girls!  What a perfect time to address the "SCARY" side of life with Halloween coming up next week! This week's theme was provided by Kat . . .
1. What creature scares you the most? (Real or imagined - people are creatures too)
The creature that scares me the most is called human being! It's really scary what a human being is capable of doing to another human being nowadaysâ¦.
2. Your favorite scary movie of all time . . .
I donâÂÂt like scary movie at all! How can I have a fave?! But I know one that's too scary & I definitely would not watch is the Korean âÂÂA Tale of Two SistersâÂÂ!
3. The scariest moment in your life . . . When I couldnâÂÂt locate my children!!! Believe me that's the scariest beyond all scary movies!!!
4. The scariest place you have ever been . . .
I honestly really canâÂÂt think of one at the moment! I must have succeeded in avoiding any places that scares me, I guess! ItâÂÂs not like in the scary movies, where you know thereâÂÂs risks in that certain place & yet still went? Unbelievable!

  Hello, dear family & friends. Before I proceed with my FF answers for this week, let me pass this message I got from (Click Here) First an announcement: it would appear The Friday Five is gone. I've received no notifications from Yahoo and yes I have a request in to them. I figure either 1) it was hacked and deleted (if you knew my password scheme you'd understand when I say highly unlikely and besides that why?) or 2) Yahoo simply lost it (I had had major difficulties accessing that page from that ID for the last 3 weeks or so) or 3) Yahoo deleted the page (and the subsequent ID) for a TOS violation that they've not informed me of. Either way I can't fix it. btw - the entire ID is gone. Having said that, I guess I"ll try running The Friday Five from my page from now on. I was to that point anyway (at least temporarily) because The Friday Five page was becoming increasingly unusable. Now I guess it's a permanent fix because I'm not creating another page. 1) If you were an animal, what animal would you be?
A unicorn! Always like to be the unique one!
2) Name a favorite flavor. Kiwi!  Yummy! Yummy!
3) Scary movies, scary books or neither?
Nope. None for me. My imagination is wild enough for me.

Just one pierce on each ear to put beautiful earrings...
Tattoo, nope. Not now, not ever.... Thank you very much.
5) Do you think Yahoo 360 has a future? if not what are your suggestions for replacing it? -
I sure hope so but my senses say otherwise. BOO Yahoo twice!
The only one I'm comfortable right now is Multiply, though it's only as a last resort.
