Hello dearest friends! Hope you had a wonderful weekend!! Mine was a bit haywire with all plans gone wrong... Can't accept that plan because we had this plan but when the time comes the plan didn't work up and we end up with no plan at all and it was already too late for the other plan!! Geezzz!! I hate it when this happens....

Quite sometime ago I promised to explain more on the kites festivals that we have here. The most renowned is The International Kites Festival we have in Pasir Gudang, Johor. Last 18 to 24 February 2008 was the 13th consecutive year kites lovers from all over joined the people of Johor for a kite fest that has been declared as the world's largest yearly kite fest. This year there was 180 kites enthusiast from 25 countries among which were Australia, New Zealand, Japan, German, China, India and Chile made their debut.

The event themed as "Layang-layang dan Langit Kita Bersatu" (The Kites and Sky are One with Us) was graced by the Sultan of Johor, Duli Yang Maha Mulia Baginda Tuanku Sultan Iskandar and the Chief Executive of Johor Corporation/President of Pasir Gudang Local Authority, Tan Sri Dato Muhammad Ali Hashim.
