Hello dear friends! Oh! How I miss you guys!!! Heehee!
As I was trying to sort out my pc yesterday the storm started with horrible thunder and lightning! Heehee! You know how scared I am of lightning.... I immediately switched off my pc including all electrical appliances in the house. While me and the girls sat at the sofa, bored with nothing to do (actually too scare to move! LOL!!) there was a cracking sound and a bright flash at a corner of the house. Hubby and me checked all the electrical appliances but all seem to be working fine. Anyway if the lightning were to strike the electricity would be cut -off but that seem to be okay too. Only when the storm cleared and I wanted to switch on the computer again did I realized the lightning has struck my phone, together with the modem!!! Argggh!! I forgot to disconnect the phone line! And this was our second phone since last year!!
But luckily it's still under warranty but I will have to wait for the service provider to change it for me. They said they would come this morning but when the day goes by and there was still no sign of them, I called again at 3pm and they said, "Oh! You still didn't get your modem? Okay, will be there shortly..." Geez! And who said I'm not the patient one...?
