Blog EntryCome Explore With Me...May 20, '08 12:24 AM
for everyone
Hello dearest friends! Hope everybody had a joyous weekend! Though it was a long weekend for us, as Monday was a public holiday for Buddhist to celebrate their Vesak Day, we were stuck at home, partly because dear beloved MacGyver has finally decided to continue with the work in the kitchen that he has left half way done for quite some time.... And another part is because we're going away for a holiday next weekend!! So this week we're supposed to get done whatever needed to be done....

Then today as I was preparing for this blog, I noticed my contact numbers has reduced! Huh? I lost two friends........ I don't know why but I can only guess.... Maybe because I've been busy and neglected them...? Or maybe because I've temporarily dropped out from the group...? Or maybe because now that they know I'm doing a business, they want to avoid being pestered by me...? Or simply because I have not been a good friend....?

Oh well, whatever it is, I wish them well and hope they will be happy with whatever they're doing. I have said that I am here to look for sincere friendships....

Now back to my blog, I would like to share a video I found on You-tube! Come and explore with me! I hope I'm not boring you with all these but I'm just trying to share with my friends what I've learnt in the course of doing what I'm doing right now..... Hope this will give you a clearer picture....

Take care & Hope You Have a Great Week Ahead!

Blog EntryWhat Drives Me...May 12, '08 12:14 AM
for everyone
Hello my dearest friends!! Hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day weekend! I miss all of you here very much!!

This is my favourite fruit, mangosteen!! I know they have this fruit in Down Under, but I don’t know whether the others have seen it because it is found mostly in South East Asia. The taste is delicious!! It’s sweet and creamy, citrusy with some peach flavour. I really love the taste of mangosteen and only recently did I learn that there is more to mangosteen than just the great taste!!

Even though there’s a ‘mango’ word there, mangosteens are unrelated to mangos. To enjoy it, instead of peeling it like an orange, a mangosteen is typically opened by pressing firmly or twisting the outside until it breaks apart.

The hard rind can be nearly one inch thick. At the center is the soft opaque white fruit, which resembles a head of garlic but tastes slightly sweet and tart.

What I’ve just discovered is that in Southeast Asia, the rind—or pericarp—has been used for medicinal purposes for generations. According to folklore, the rind was used to make a tea for conditions such as diarrhea, bladder infections, and gonorrhea. An ointment made from the rind was applied to skin rashes.

Today, the rind has been found to contain the compounds alpha-mangostin, beta-mangostin, garcinone B, and garcinone E, which are collectively called xanthones.

Laboratory studies suggest xanthones have anti-cancer effects. Mangosteen has also been found to have anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antifungal, and antiseptic properties.

Mangosteen or scientifically known as Garcinia mangostana, was virtually unknown in North America until a Utah-based network marketing start-up introduced a mangosteen drink called XanGo in late 2002.

Since then, XanGo marketers have produced a craze around the beverage in US. The company is considered one of the fastest growing network marketing companies. XanGo is sold around the world through a network of independent distributors.

Now this bring to the business that I’m involved in right now. XanGo was first introduced to me by our common online friend, Jackie Spence-Henricks from Canada, aka ‘willowhaven’ here in Multiply, quite some time ago. Some of you from Yahoo 360 would have known her. From what she’s written and from what I found, I know it’s a great product but somehow…. I did not feel any urgent need for it at that time….

Most of you are aware that I’ve just been diagnosed with high cholesterol & hypertension recently. And actually, there’s one more that I’ve kept from you gals, is gout. Sorry friends… I just feel I’ve worried you enough… I just didn’t want to lay it all at once… heehee! Please don’t get angry with me now…

I've been taking XanGo mangosteen juice for almost a month now and I can really feel my health improving. On the fourth day that I took it, I no longer dozed off during the day! After two weeks, I lost 2kgs!! After three weeks, the rashes that h
ave been a long time problem on my hand  are no longer itchy and almost gone. And I also noticed I no longer suffer from the heel pain I had everytime I walk too.

My children are still young… there’s still a long way to go… I can’t afford to fall sick at this time. They still need me. I know I will feel horrible if they have to take care of me instead…. I've been there.... This is what drives me to first, take good care of myself. So that I would be able to fulfill my second, i.e. take care of my children and beloved husband….. Then my other family members…. Then my precious friends, both in real world and online…. I know.... I know, it’s a big dream... but then again, it’s not impossible…..

It’s funny how life works… who would have thought that from being connected just as online friends, we could get connected in so much more…. I wish one day I will be connected to all of you more than just online, like what is happening to Jackie and me….

We’re now active business partners and we communicate with each other almost everyday and I’ve even been to Jackie’s house in Canada!! But online….. for the moment…. Heehee!! But I know, with diligence hard work, I will be there in person one day, Jackie… And soon too I will have both you and Bob here in my home….

Pray for me, my friends… If any of you are interested to know more about the product, just let me know, or you can always check out my website RuzihaOsman.MyMangosteen.com
